2017: Competed five times in the hammer throw in his final season … ended the year with his best mark, a 171-2 throw at the Ken Shannon Invitational for second-place … also threw 171-0 to open the season at the Trojan Invitational … sixth in the UW-WSU Dual in the hammer at 160-10 … threw 163-4 at the Stanford Invite for ninth … earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team.
2016: Returned to the squad and was a factor in the hammer throw in dual meet competitions … scored in the Dual with WSU, taking third in the hammer at 172-2 … season-best hammer throw of 177-0 came at the Ken Shannon Invite, placing second … eighth in the hammer at the Pepsi Team Invitational going 171-2 … threw 173-9 at the Pac-12 vs Big Ten Invite for 14th overall … indoors, set a career-best in the weight throw with a toss of 52-10 ¾ at the Husky Classic … also went 51-1 ½ at the UW Indoor Open … one of just four Huskies named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team.
2014: Improved his hammer throw PR by more than twenty feet in his second season … scored a point in the UW-WSU Dual Meet, taking third in the hammer throw with a best of 176-7 … set a new PR in the hammer of 179-6 at the Oregon Relays, placing eighth … opened the year with a 15-foot PR of 171-0 at the Washington Open … indoors, competed three times in the weight throw unattached, with a best of 49-9 at the UW Indoor Open.
2013: A full season adapting to college throwing, he threw the shot, discus and hammer at both the Pepsi Team Invitational and the UW-WSU dual … best hammer throw of 156-6 came at the Spring Break Open … also threw 154-3 in the hammer at the Ken Shannon Invite … fourth in the hammer at the UW-WSU Dual with a best of 151-8 … seventh in the shot put at the Pepsi Team Invite at 40-9 … indoors threw the weight at three meets, with a PR of 46-4 ¼ at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in Olympia, Washington ... parents are Jodi and Neil White ... has one older brother, Trevor ... both parents played college basketball and his father also threw javelin ... twice named team MVP at Centralia as well as most inspirational, he threw all four implements, including taking up the hammer his senior year ... finished third in the 2012 Washington State Hammer Championships, throwing a personal-best 187-feet, 8-inches ... competed at Junior Olympic Nationals in July of 2012 in Baltimore, placing 15th in the hammer throw with a toss of 167-10 ... won the district title in the discus throw his junior year with a PR of 142-1, and went on to finish 12th in the 2A state meet ... also set javelin PR of 164-1 and shot put PR of 49-0 during his senior year ... lettered three years in football and was an All-League offensive linemen his senior season, as well as Shrine Game MVP ... co-captain of football team and most inspirational as a senior ... was the valedictorian of his graduating class, owning a 4.0 GPA, as well as being student body president ... is an eagle scout and holds a black belt in martial arts ... a Seven Continents Club member.
