Football standout wide receiver is joining the track & field squad for the first time in the spring of 2017 to compete in the long jump.
Track Bio
2017: Crossed over from the gridiron to compete four times for the Huskies in the long jump, and posted the best long jump marks on the squad despite his limited training and competition schedule … first time out in the field came at the Trojan Invitational at USC on Mar. 18 where he was sixth in the long jump at 23-10 ¼ … did not compete again for more than a month as he took part in the spring football season … came back on Apr. 23 and got his first win in the UW-WSU Dual meet, as he leaped 24-1 ¾ despite a -1.5 headwind … had a wind-aided 24-3 mark to win the Ken Shannon Invitational … competed in the Pac-12 Championships in Eugene, finishing ninth overall with a mark of 23-6 ¾.
