2018: Competed at the Pac-12 Championships again in the pole vault, taking 11th overall with a make of 15-6 ½ … tied for fourth at the UW-WSU Dual making 16-1 ¼ … seventh at the Pepsi Team Invite clearing 15-9 … indoors, had a lifetime-best clearance of 16-7 ¼ at the UW Indoor Preview, taking third … made 15-11 ¾ at the Husky Classic but missed the rest of the indoor season due to injury.

2017: Scored at both conference championships in the pole vault in his first season … at the Pac-12 Championships, picked up a point with an eighth-place finish as he cleared 15-11 … was second at the Ken Shannon Invite with a make of 16-1 ¾ … tied for third at the UW-WSU Dual at 15-5 in rainy conditions … indoors, set a new PR and took fifth at the MPSF Championships with a jump of 16-5 ½ … also cleared 16-4 ¾ at the Husky Classic for third-place.

High School and Personal: Born in Seoul, Korea ... parents are Ann and John Bowler ... sister Nicole Bowler ran track at University of San Francisco from 2007-11, setting multiple school records and earning All-WCC honors ... a California state finalist in the pole vault, taking third as a senior with a clearance of 15-8 after clearing a career-best of 16-8 earlier in the season which tied for 16th nationally in 2016 ... won the 2016 Sacramento Meet of Champions with a make of 15-10 ... set a new school record as just a freshman with a make of 15-1.
