2019-20 (Indoor Track; Outdoor Season Canceled): Redshirted the indoor season ... (Cross Country): Raced once on the season, competing in the open race at the Pre-National Invite in Terre Haute and placing 27th … named to the fall Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
2018-19 (Track): Competed three times outdoors, with a best 800-meters time of 2:15.01 at the Ken Shannon Invite for second … fifth in the 1,500m at the UW-WSU Dual … indoors, ran a season-best 800m time of 2:13.66 at the Last Chance Elite Meet … opened the season with a 2:54.01 time in the 1,000-meters at the UW Indoor Preview ... (Cross Country): Redshirted the season.
2017-18 (Track): Raced during the indoor season before redshirting the outdoor season … ran a mile at the indoor finale, the SPU Final Qualifier, coming through in 4:55.14 … at the season-opening UW Indoor Preview ran the 1,000-meters in 2:56.42 and ran on the 4x400m relay ... High School and Personal: Born in Santa Barbara, California … parents are Dawn and Richard Schroeder … has one older brother, Grant, who played water polo at University of California … both parents swam at UC Santa Barbara and father Richard went on to compete in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games for the U.S. and swam breaststroke leg of the medley relay team that won the gold medal … mother also competed at the 1984 and 1988 U.S. Olympic Trials … a California state champion in the 800-meters, winning the 2015 title as a sophomore with a PR of 2:07.08 which ranked seventh nationally that season … also finished eighth in the 800m at the 2016 state championships and sixth as a senior in 2017 … ran a mile PR of 4:51.61 at the 2016 Arcadia Invitational, taking second, and was third in the 800m … ran at the 2016 U.S. Junior National Championships in Clovis, Calif. taking 13th in the 800-meters in 2:10.02 … won seven individual Channel League titles on the track including four straight at 800-meters … won the CIF-Southern Section 800-meters all four years … Santa Barbara Club West Athlete of the Year in 2015 … in cross country, won the Channel League title as a junior and a senior and finished ninth at the Div.
