2020 (Indoor Track; Outdoor Season Canceled): Competed at the MPSF Championships in the long jump once again, placing 13th overall with a best of 22-9 1/4 โฆ a season-best mark of 23-0 3/4 at the UW Last Chance Meet โฆ 10th at the UW Invitational at 22-8 1/2.
2019: In his first season on the squad, led the Huskies in the long jump, scoring a point at both conference championships โฆ got the last spot into NCAA West Prelims in Sacramento and finished 30th in the long jump with a best of 23-8 1/4 โฆ jumped a lifetime-best of 24-3 at the Pac-12 Championships in Tucson to finish eighth โฆ won the UW-WSU Dual with a leap of 23-7 1/2 โฆ jumped 23-9 at the Beach Invitational โฆ indoors, scored a point at the MPSF Championships for eighth-place with a best of 23-2 โฆ had an indoor season-best of 23-4 1/2 at the Last Chance Elite Meet to take second ... sixth at the UW Invitational with a mark of 22-9 1/4.
Prior to UW: Previous stops at Long Beach State and Central Washington where he was on the football and track teams ... a Dean's List member at UW.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle ... parents are Bill and Anne Richmond ... father was a four-year letterwinnerย on the Washington track team ... has one older brother, Max, and a younger brother, Jack ... Max played for the Washington football team ... the Bellevue High School Athlete of the Year in 2015 ... a four-year football and track letterwinner in high school ... a three-time 3A state champion on the track, winning the 110m hurdles in 2014 and the 4x100m relays in 2014 and 2015 ... helped the football team win three 3A state titles and the track team win the team title all four years from 2012-15 ... a second-team All-State running back in 2013 ... MVP of the 2014 San Diego Honor Bowl.
