2018-19 (Track):Β Competed twice outdoors, moving up to the 10,000-meters for the first time at the Cardinal Classic and finishing second in 29:17.39, the new No. 10 mark in school history β¦ fourth in the 5k at the UW-WSU Dual β¦ indoors, was eighth in the 5,000-meters at the MPSF Championships in an indoor PR of 14:03.85 β¦ ran a season-best 3,000-meters of 8:06.62 at the UW Invitational ...Β (Cross Country): Made significant strides during the fall as a key part of a Husky squad that took second at Pac-12s and Regionals and then was sixth-place at the NCAA Championships for its best finish in 25 years β¦ improved by 123 places from his 2017 run at NCAAs, as he finished 122nd overall in Wisconsin as the No. 6 Husky finisher with a time of 30:50 to help the team take sixth β¦ was sixth on the squad and 34th overall at West Regionals in 30:10 as UW took second to auto advance to nationals β¦ placed 22nd overall at the Pac-12 Championships, sixth on the squad, in 23:35, improving by 28 places from the previous year β¦ first run of the season was at Pre-Nationals in the B race where he took third-place in 24:42 β¦ earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team.
2017-18 (Track): Ended his redshirt freshman season very strong by clocking a career-best 5k time at the NCAA West Preliminaries, as he was 21st overall in 14:00.78 β¦ ran at the Pac-12 Championships, taking 15th in the 5,000m in 14:37.50 β¦ got his West Prelims qualifier at the Stanford Invitational, as he won his section in 14:03.02 β¦ seventh in the 3k at the Pepsi Team Invite in 8:40.50 β¦ second in the UW-WSU Dual 5k in 14:26.52 β¦ indoors, was 23rd at the MPSF Championships in the 3,000-meters in 8:11.61 β¦ set a 3k PR of 8:06.50 at the Husky Classic β¦ opened the year with a mile time of 4:21.43 at the UW Indoor Preview β¦ was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second TeamΒ ...Β (Cross Country): Raced four times during the season including at his first NCAA Championships β¦ a Pac-12 All-Academic First Team selection β¦ was the Husky alternate at the NCAA Championships but got a shot to race and finished 245th overall, seventh on the team, as UW took 22nd as a team β¦ was the No. 6 Husky at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing 50th overall in a time of 24:49 β¦ at the Wisconsin Invitational, ran in the B-race and was the top Husky, taking 23rd in 25:11 β¦ opened his season at the Dellinger Invitational, finishing 62nd overall in 24:41.
2016-17 (Track): Ran a full indoor season and then redshirted the outdoor season β¦ ran at the MPSF Championships in his first indoor campaign, taking 20th overall in the 3,000-meters with a season-best time of 8:12.26 β¦ also ran the 3k at the UW Invitational in 8:21.77 β¦ ran the mile one time at the Husky Classic, crossing in 4:16.10 ... (Cross Country):Β Redshirted his first fall season, racing twice unattached β¦ a strong debut at the Sundodger Invitational, finishing 11th overall in 24-minutes, 33-seconds β¦ also ran at the Washington Invite, placing 72nd overall in 25:56 ... in February, ran at the U.S. Junior Cross Country Championships in Bend, Ore. and placed fourth overall in 26:17, earning a spot on Team USA for the Junior World Championships ... traveled to Kampala, Uganda for the World Championships in March, placing 86th overall in the U20 race in a time of 27:55 as the U.S. team finished ninth.
High School and Personal: Born in Bellevue, Washington β¦ parents are Laura and John Parpart β¦ has one younger brother, Alex, and one younger sister, Caitlynn β¦ father attended Washington and uncle, Eric Andreson, was the 1995 Pac-10 800m champion for Washington State β¦ saw big improvements as a senior, making the 4A state meet in two events, finishing fourth in the 3,200-meters in 9:15.37 and 14th in the 1,600-meter final β¦ ran a 3,200m PR at the 2016 Arcadia Invite, winning his section in 9:09.16 β¦ the 3,200m KingCo runner-up as a junior β¦ on the cross country course, was 22nd at the state championships as a senior and 33rd his junior year and was team captain both years β¦ earned Eagle Scout status β¦ a Scholar Athlete, graduated with a 3.95 grade point average.
