2021: Competed once on the season, at the season opening UW Indoor Preview โฆ threw 35-10 ยฝ in the shot put and 39-5 ยพ in the weight throw.
High School and Personal: Born in Farmington, New Mexico โฆ parents are Kathy and Chris Herrera โฆ has two older brothers, Alex and Nicholas, and one younger sister, Makayla โฆ mother played basketball at Colorado Mesa and Central Florida colleges โฆ brother Alex played basketball at Fort Lewis College and plays professionally in Europe โฆ attended high school for two years at Ignacio High School in Colorado before transferring to La Conner High School for her final two years โฆ only started competing in track her junior year, and only got one season of competition as 2020 was canceled due to Covid-19 pandemic โฆ fourth at the Washington 2B state championships in the shot put in her one season of competition, and also ran on the 4x200m relay team at state โฆ an all-around athlete who was all-conference and all-state in both basketball and volleyball in Colorado and Washington โฆ helped La Conner volleyball team win the (2B) 2018 and 2019 state titles โฆ a 2019 Washington Interscholastic Athletics Association Athlete of the Week.
