2018-19 (Track): Did not compete during the 2019 season ... (Cross Country): Made one appearance during the fall, traveling to Pre-Nationals in Wisconsin where he ran in the B race and finished 68th-place.
2017-18 (Track): Raced three times during the outdoor season โฆ twice ran the 3,000m steeplechase, with a best time of 9:15.63 to take eighth at the Pepsi Team Invitational โฆ also was sixth in the steeple at the UW-WSU Dual in 9:33.07 โฆ first race in uniform was the Stanford Invite 5,000m where he ran 14:20.94 โฆ redshirted the indoor season, competing three times unattached โฆ had a 3,000m time of 8:15.86 at the UW Invitational โฆ an unattached mile time of 4:23.98 at the UW Indoor Preview ...ย (Cross Country):ย Redshirted the fall, competing twice unattached โฆ raced first at the Dellinger Invitational in Oregon, finishing 66th in a time of 24:43 โฆ took third at the Emerald City Open in Woodland Park in a time of 25:42 on the hilly course โฆ in December, raced at the Canadian Junior Cross Country Championships in Kingston, Ontario, and placed fourth overall ... a great run for Team Canada at the 2018 NACACย XC Championships in El Salvador in February, as he was third overall in the junior race to help Canada win the team gold.
High School and Personal: Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada โฆ parents are Jane Rowlands and Steve Nobbs โฆ has one younger sister, Emma โฆ father ran track and competed internationally in Australia โฆ a two-event Canadian Youth Track Champion in 2016, winning the 2,000-meter steeplechase by 12 seconds in a time of 5:54 and also winning the 3,000-meters in 8:30 โฆ won the 2k steeple and 3,000m crowns at the 2016 BC Athletics Jamboree โฆ the 2015 Athletics Canada Cross Country Youth Championship runner-up โฆ won the B.C. Athletics cross country jamboree in 2015 โฆ as a junior on the track, was second in the B.C. High School Championships in the 2k steeplechase in 5:58 and second in the 3k in 8:42 โฆ won the Vancouver cross country zone finals all four years of his high school career, and placed second at the B.C. High School XC Championships as a senior in 2016 โฆ named the menโs B.C. Youth B.C. Cross Country Athlete of the Year as well as the menโs Midget B.C. Cross Country Athlete of the Year โฆ received the 2017 Harry Jerome Scholarship and a 2017 Vancouver Spirit Run Frank Reynolds Bursary and was the 2016 B.C. High School Cross Country Scholarship Award winner โฆ was an assistant cross country and track coach for the Vancouver Olympic Club and is a level 1 track and field official for B.C. Athletics โฆ a certified lifeguard and Canadian Red Cross swim instructor.
