2018-19 (Track): Enjoyed her best season in her final season, returning to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the steeplechase and taking second-place at the Pac-12 Championships … placed 14th at her second NCAA Outdoors, earning All-America Second Team honors, with a time of 10:11.42 in the steeplechase semifinals … at the NCAA West Preliminaries in Sacramento, cut seven seconds off her PR to take third in her heat in 9:53.11 and advance to the NCAA final site … that time ranks third in UW history at the time of her graduation … also ran the 5k at West Prelims and was top-20 in 19th-place in 16:07.05 ... was the Pac-12 runner-up, posting a time of 10:08.09 in Tucson, and then doubling back to take 11th in the 5k in 16:22.47 … was 10th in the steeplechase at the Payton Jordan Invitational with a time of 10:05.79 … won the UW-WSU Dual in her steeple season opener in 10:23.89 … set a new PR in the 5,000-meters at the Stanford Invitational, crossing in 16:05.31 … indoors, set personal-bests in the mile and the 3,000-meters … ran a mile PR of 4:48.22 at the Last Chance Elite Meet … a 3,000m indoor PR of 9:25.80 at the Husky Classic … finished 22nd in the 3k at the MPSF Championships in 9:34.70 ... (Cross Country): Enjoyed her best cross country season as a senior, helping lead UW to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships and scoring for UW at every race … at the NCAA Championships in Wisconsin, finished 69th overall as the No. 3 Husky in 20:51, a career-best finish at the national meet by 86 places … placed 34th overall, fifth on the team, at West Regionals in Sacramento in 20:39 … had a career-best Pac-12 finish of 29th overall, the No. 3 scorer, in 20:47 … was second on the squad and 22nd-place overall at Pre-Nationals in Wisconsin in 20:50 … at the Stanford Invitational, was 20th overall and the third Husky finisher … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2017-18 (Track): Enjoyed a breakthrough track season as she moved to the steeplechase for the first time and advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championship semifinals to earn All-America honorable mention … had a stunning twenty second PR at the NCAA West Prelims in Sacramento to advance to NCAA Outdoors with the 11th fastest time as she ran 10:00.35, going to No. 3 in the Husky history books … at her first NCAA Championships, was 19th overall in the semis in 10:14.71 … going into NCAA Prelims, her steeple PR was 10:20.49 which was set at the Pac-12 Championships where she finished fifth to score for the first time … won the steeple at the UW-WSU Dual in 10:24.04, at the time a 14 second PR … first steeplechase was at the Pepsi Team Invitational where she was second in 10:38.59 … set a five-second 1,500m PR at the Bryan Clay Invite with a time of 4:21.47 … opened her outdoor season at the Stanford Invite running the 5k in 16:28.03 … indoors, was 14th in the 3k at the MPSF Championships in 9:39.99 … season-best indoor 3k of 9:34.96 at the Husky Classic … ran the mile in 4:52.12 at the UW Invitational … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention ... (Cross Country): A top-five scorer for the Dawgs at every race, helping the Huskies finish 21st at the NCAA Championships … was the No. 4 Husky finisher at NCAAs in Louisville, placing 155th overall in 21:07 … the second Dawg to finish at NCAA West Regionals, placing 40th in 20:38 … a career-best 36th-place finish at Pac-12s, fourth on the team, in 20:03 … at the Wisconsin Invitational, was 77th overall and fifth among Dawgs in 21:00 … 20th at the Dellinger Invite in 19:43, third on the team … fifth-place at the Sundodger Invite in 20:52 … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2016-17 (Track): Set personal-bests at every distance and qualified for her first NCAA West Preliminary Championships … qualified for West Prelims in the 5,000-meters, and took 34th overall in Austin with a time of 17:22.97 … set a new 5k PR at the Stanford Invitational where she ran 16:15.94 … ran the 5k at the Pac-12 Championships, taking 22nd in a time of 16:52.99 … set a new 1,500-meters PR of 4:26.83 at the OSU High Performance Meet taking 16th overall … was second in the 1,500m at the UW-WSU Dual in 4:31.67 and fifth in the 800-meters in 2:14.10 … indoors, was the anchor leg on the distance medley relay that took third at the MPSF Championships in 11:14.37 … also ran the 3k at MPSFs and was 16th in 9:32.32, a new PR … set a big PR in the mile at the Husky Classic in 4:50.38 … opened the season running the 1,000m in 2:53.75 at the UW Indoor Preview … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention … named a USTFCCCA All-Academic pick ... (Cross Country): Raced four times in the fall including at the Pac-12 Championships … at the Pac-12 meet in Arizona, was 51st overall and eighth on the squad in 22:02 … ran in the Open Race at the Wisconsin Invitational and had a strong run, placing sixth overall in 21:27 … finished 19th at the Washington Invite, eighth on the team, as UW won the team title … opened her season with a 11th-place finish at the Sundodger Invite in 21:10 … earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2015-16 (Track): Ran a full season indoors and out from the 800-meters up to the 5,000-meters and competed at the Pac-12 Championships … at her first Pac-12 meet, placed 19th in the 5k, crossing the line in 16:56.50 … set a 5k personal-best of 16:38.20 at the Pepsi Team Invitational and finished fifth … a PR of 4:30.86 in the 1,500-meters at the Stanford Invitational … opened her outdoor season with a 4:32.45 1,500-meters at the Pac-12 vs Big Ten Invite … was fifth in the 1,500m at the UW-WSU Dual in 4:33.82 … a time of 2:14.67 for 800-meters at the Ken Shannon Invite … indoors, ran a mile PR in her final indoor race at the SPU Final Qualifier, clocking 4:54.78 … also ran a 4:58.93 mile time at the UW Invitational … at the Husky Classic, ran the 3,000-meters in 9:49.14 ... (Cross Country): A strong freshman season saw her run in the Husky top-seven on three occasions, including running at her first NCAA Championships as the Huskies placed 10th overall … finished her first NCAA Championships 6k in 22:03, placing 226th as the seventh Husky finisher … also was the No. 7 Husky at West Regionals in Seattle, placing 55th in 21:39 … eighth on the squad at the Pac-12 Championships and 50th overall in 21:09 … ran in the open race at the Wisconsin Invitational, and led five Huskies in that field with a fourth-place finish in 20:56 … placed 37th at the Washington Invitational in 20:40, seventh among Huskies … first collegiate race at the Sundodger Invite, taking 18th overall in 21:31.
High School and Personal: Born in Hillsboro, Oregon … parents are Heidi and Ted Hamlin … has one younger brother, David, and one younger sister, Jamie … father earned a Master’s from Washington … both parents competed in cross country and track at Seattle Pacific University and both were All-Americans at 800-meters … a three-time Gatorade Athlete of the Year for Idaho, winning the Track & Field honor in 2014 and 2015 and the Cross Country award in 2014 … a three-time Idaho 5A state champion in cross country and a seven-time state champion on the track … won the Idaho 5A state cross country title as a freshman, sophomore, and went out on top as a senior with a win … swept the Idaho 5A state track titles in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m as a junior and a senior, and won the 800-meters as a sophomore … her senior year, ran a 3,200m PR of 10:28.40 at the Arcadia Invite, finishing 14th … was seventh in the 2014 Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regional, and 75th at the national championships … ran a mile PR of 4:54.55 at the 2014 Arcadia Invite last year that ranked 40th nationally, also setting best of 2:12.33 in the 800-meters and finishing first in the 3,200m in 10:38.25 … holds the Idaho state record at 800-meters and 1,600-meters and the 5A record at 3,200-meters … a National Honor Society member … the Boise High Female Athlete of the Year in 2015 … graduated with a 4.18 grade point average.
