2018: Competed in the pole vault … best mark outdoors was a 9-7 make at the Doris Heritage Festival … indoors, cleared 10-1 ½ at both the Husky Classic and the UW Indoor Open.
2017: Completed a full indoor season in the pole vault and competed one time outdoors … indoors, had a season-best make of 11-feet, 5-inches at the Husky Classic and again at the UW Indoor Open … also made 11-1 at the UW Invitational … one outdoor meet was the UW-WSU Dual, taking 12th with a make of 10-6 ¼.
2015-16 (At Lane CC): Won the 2016 NWAC Championship with a personal-best vault clearance of 12-4 ½, setting a school record … jumped at the 2016 National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, going 11-7 ¾ … named Lane Field Event Athlete of the Year … ranked second in the nation for junior colleges in 2016 and an All-American … third in the pole vault at the 2015 NWAC meet … a Scholastic Silver Key Recipient for Ceramics.
High School and Personal: Born in San Francisco … parents are Claudia and Clark Taylor … has one younger brother, Richard … father was a professional cyclist … took third in the pole vault at the Oregon 6A state championships in 2013 and 2014, going 11-3 as a senior in 2014 … two-time Three Rivers League pole vault champion … school record-holder … graduated with a 3.76 grade point average.
