2015 Pac-12 4x400m Relay Third-Place
2017: Limited action in his final outdoor season, competing only at the outdoor season opener β¦ indoors, had the second-fastest 400-meter time on the squad, running 48.44 seconds at the Husky Classic for ninth-place β¦ ran the 400-meters at the MPSF Championships in 48.89 to finish 24th, and ran on the 4x400m relay that took seventh in 3:12.85.
2016: Part of the 4x400-meter relay team that advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Championships despite some health issues during the season β¦ the 4x400m relay took 19th at West Prelims running a time of 3:09.70 β¦ ran on both relays at the Pac-12 Championships, as the 4x100m relay finished fifth in 40.53 seconds and the 4x400m was seventh in 3:12.89 β¦ was 11th at Pac-12s in the 400m in 48.29 seconds β¦ won the 400m at the UW-WSU Dual with a time of 47.78 β¦ had a season-best 47.70 at the Mt. SAC Relays β¦ ran a 200m PR of 21.71 at the Beach Invitational β¦ the 4x400m relay ran its fastest time of the season at the Pepsi Team Invite, going 3:09.59 to finish second β¦ indoors, season-best 400-meter time of 47.90 came at the Husky Classic and ran on 4x400m relay that won in a time of 3:11.71 β¦ set a 60m PR of 7.07 seconds at the season-opening UW Indoor Preview β¦ a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2015: Made big strides during his second season, reaching the NCAA West Preliminary Championships for the first time in the 400-meters as well as scoring at the Pac-12 Championships in two events β¦ at the Pac-12 meet at UCLA, he made the 400-meters final, running a PR of 47.01 seconds in the prelim, and then taking sixth in the final in 47.02 seconds β¦ ran on the 4x400m relay squad at Pac-12s that made the podium with a third-place finish in a season-best time of 3:10.96 β¦ ran in the 400m first round at NCAA West Prelims, finishing 40th overall with a time of 47.89 β¦ won the 400-meters in the UW-WSU Dual with a time of 47.60 β¦ took second in the quarter mile at the Pepsi Team Invitational with a time of 47.83 β¦ also ran 47.32 at the Mt. SAC Relays, taking 10th β¦ indoors, ran the 400m leg on the DMR that finished third at the MPSF Championships in 9:34.81, the third-fastest time in school history β¦ clocked a new indoor best of 47.56 in the Husky Classic 400-meters, the No. 10 time in school history β¦ also second in the 200m at the Husky Classic with a time of 21.78 seconds β¦ won the 400m at the UW Invitational in 47.93.
2014: The top quarter-miler on the team in his first season β¦ ran a season-best time of 48.08 seconds in the 400-meters at the Washington Open β¦ entered in the Pac-12 Championships but suffered an injury and was unable to finish the 400m β¦ took third in the 400-meters at the UW-WSU Dual in 48.22 seconds, and was fifth at 200m in 22.08 β¦ part of the Drake Relays travel squad, and ran the 400m leg on the distance medley relay which took second in 9:40.20, and also ran on the ninth-place sprint medley relay (3:22.39) and 21st-place 4x100m relay (41.33) β¦ seasonβs best 200-meters also came at the Washington Open, as he ran 21.84 seconds β¦ indoors, competed at the MPSF Championships, running on the 4x400m relay which took 11th and also finished 27th in the 200m β¦ best indoor 400-meters of 49.14 seconds at the UW Invitational, and also ran his best 200m time of 22.00 at that meet β¦ 10th in the Husky Classic with a time of 49.30 in the 400m.
High School and Personal: Born in Olympia, Washington β¦ parents are Elizabeth and Bryce Brown β¦ has one younger brother, Matthew β¦ father attended University of Washington β¦ a three-time Washington 2A state champion at 400-meters, setting the state meet record as a junior and then breaking it again as a senior in 2013 β¦ won his third straight 400m state title in 2013 in a personal-best time of 47.10 seconds β¦ that time ranked 20th in the nation in 2013 and 11th among seniors β¦ also won his first 200-meter state title as a senior with a PR of 21.49 β¦ ran 48.35 seconds to win the state title as a junior in 2012 β¦ took the state title for the first time as a sophomore in 2011, running 49.55 β¦ third among preps in the 400-meters at the 2013 Stanford Invite, running 48.31 β¦ fourth at the 2013 Brooks PR Invite in UWβs Dempsey Indoor, clocking 49.15 β¦ won the Evergreen League title at 400-meters in 2011 and 2012 β¦ also was third at the 2A state meet in the 200-meters in 2012, and fifth in 2011 β¦ lettered three years in football and was a First Team All-Evergreen League running back in 2011 and All-League MVP in 2012 β¦ Olympian All-Area Football Player of the Year in 2012, Tacoma News Tribune All-Area and Seattle Times All-State Team β¦ Dick Nichols award winner and Senior Class Award for Activities at Tumwater.
