2018: A major breakthrough season in her first full track season in three years and first at the D-I level … advanced to the NCAA West Prelim quarterfinals in the 400-meter hurdles, just missing a spot to NCAAs by three places, and also ran on the 4x400m relay squad that also nearly made nationals outdoors and shattered the indoor school record … was the second-highest finishing Husky individual on the women’s side at the Pac-12 Championships, as she was fourth in the 400m hurdles in 58.62 … at NCAA Prelims, advanced through round one and finished 15th overall in the quarterfinals with a time of 58.46 … was the lead leg on the 4x400m relay that ran 3:38.03 to take fourth at the Pac-12 Championships, going to No. 3 overall in school history … the 4x400m relay ran the same 3:38.03 time again at NCAA Prelims, placing 14th overall, two spots shy of advancing … ran one open 400-meters outdoors, setting a PR of 54.76 to win the Ken Shannon Invite and going to No. 10 in school history … second in the 400m hurdles at the UW-WSU Dual in 58.53 and helped the 4x4 win in 3:40.07 … set her hurdles PR at the Mt. SAC Relays, running 58.24, going to No. 6 in school history … second at the Pepsi Team Invite in the 400m hurdles in 59.55 … opened her outdoor season with a win at the Trojan Invitational with a then-PR of 58.85 after never having broken 61-seconds prior … indoors, ran on the two fastest 4x400m relays in school history, first smashing the old mark by nearly five full seconds at the Don Kirby Invite as the group ran 3:37.74 (converted for altitude from 3:37.30) … the 4x4 then took third at the MPSF Championships with a slightly different group in 3:38.57, the new No. 2 mark … took 11th in the open 400-meters at the MPSF Championships in an indoor PR of 55.13, the fourth-fastest time in school history indoors … was ninth in the 400m at the UW Invitational in 55.92 … named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team ... earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2015-17: Transferred to Washington midway through the 2015-16 academic year and did not compete in track ... joined the team at the start of the 2016-17 year but suffered a stress fracture right before the indoor season that kept her out for 2017.
2015 (At Claremont-Mudd-Scripps): Made the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship finals in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing fifth-place with a career-best time of 1:01.27 ... also made NCAAs on the 4x100m relay, which finished 10th, and the 4x400m relay, also finishing 10th ... won the league title at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet in the 400m hurdles in 1:01.59 and helped both 4x1 and 4x4 relays win titles.
2014 (At Claremont-Mudd-Scripps): Reached the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in her freshman season in the 400-meters, placing 22nd overall in a time of 58.23 seconds ... had a season-best 400-meters time of 56.85 seconds at the SCIAC Championships, winning the league title and going to third in school history ... also part of SCIAC-winning 4x400m relay ... a season-best 200m time of 25.59 that made the CMS all-time top-10 list.
High School and Personal: Born in Bellingham, Wash. ... parents are Paula and Scott Tarleton ... has one older brother, Anders, and one older sister, Mari ... won the 2013 Washington State 2A Championship at 300m hurdles as a senior, running a PR of 43.20 in the state finals ... also part of the state-championship-winning 4x200m relay and 4x400m relay as a senior ... won the district title and Northwest Conference title in the 300m hurdles all three years of high school ... second at state in the 300m hurdles as a junior and third as a sophomore and won two more state relay titles ... also lettered in soccer in high school.
