Bio
2018: Completed a full indoor season in the pole vault before redshirting the outdoor season … indoors, twice cleared a season-best of 11-7 ¼, once at the Husky Classic and again at the UW Indoor Open … made 11-6 ½ at the SPU Final Qualifier … competed once unattached outdoors, making 10-2 ¾ at the Ken Shannon Invite.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle … parents are Joy and Ted Markow … has three younger sisters, Lucy, Piper, and Daisy … father played football at Princeton … in the pole vault, took third at the Washington 3A State Championships for three straight years from a sophomore to a senior … cleared a PR of 12-9 in 2016 at the Lake Washington Girls Invite … the 2016 Metro League Champ in the pole vault and was runner-up in the 100m hurdles … made it to state in the hurdles as a junior as well … was a valedictorian at her high school, graduating with a 4.0 grade point average.
