2019: Had her best season as a senior, running her top two times in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships in Sacramento … ran a PR in the first round at West Prelims, going 58.29 to go to No. 9 on the UW 400m hurdles top-10 list … followed that with a time of 58.47 in the quarterfinals to finish 15th overall, just three spots short of an NCAA semifinal bid … was ninth in the 400m hurdles at the Pac-12 Championships in a time of 59.48 and helped the 4x400m relay take sixth in a season-best 3:40.16 … broke 59-seconds for the first time at the National Relay Championships in Arkansas with a time of 58.84, finishing second … second-place at the Beach Invitational 400m hurdles in 59.26 … third in the UW-WSU Dual as part of a Husky 400m hurdles sweep, running 59.45 and part of the winning 4x4 relay … ran 59.77 seconds for second in the hurdles at the Stanford Invitational … indoors, ran 56.37 to take 14th in the 400-meters at the MPSF Championships and ran on the 4x400m relay that took sixth in 3:44.85 … ran the 400m leg on the DMR that ran 11:20.31 at the UW Invitational.
2018: Returned to focusing on hurdles and sprints and had her best season to date, advancing to the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 400m hurdles … finished 31st overall at the NCAA Prelims in Sacramento in the 400m hurdles, running a time of 59.84 in the first round … just missed the Pac-12 final as she took 10th in the prelims in a time of 59.53 … was third in the 400m hurdles at the UW-WSU Dual in 59.23 and helped the 4x400m relay win in 3:40.07 … ran a new 400m hurdles PR in the outdoor opener, going 59.14 at the Trojan Invitational for second … posted a time of 59.40 at the Mt. SAC Relays and ran on the relay that clocked 3:40.04 … indoors, ran on the 4x400m relay that took third at the MPSF Championships with the second-fastest time in school history, running 3:38.57, and also was 18th in the open 400-meters in an indoor PR of 55.97 … ran 56.15 for 400-meters at the UW Invitational for 11th … opened the season with a 60m hurdles time of 9.07 at the UW Indoor Preview … earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2017: Transitioned into the multi-events in her second season … completed one full heptathlon outdoors, scoring 4,462 points at the California Multi-Events, with a 100m hurdles of 15.11, a high jump of 5-1 ¾, a shot put of 31-1 ¼, a 200m of 26.39, a long jump of 16-6, a javelin throw of 72-2, and an 800m of 2:23.02 … also set a 400-meter hurdles PR of 1:00.66 at the OSU High Performance Meet taking third … entered in the 400m hurdles at the Pac-12 Championships but suffered a false start … was third in the 400m hurdles at the UW-WSU Dual in 1:02.76 and fourth in the 100m hurdles in a PR of 14.81 seconds … indoors, completed two heptathlons, scoring 3,254 points at the UW Invitational then upping that to 3,507 points at the MPSF Championships where she was 11th … set all her personal-bests in the MPSF meet, running the 60m hurdles in 8.98, high jumping 5-1, shot putting 29-4 ¾, long jumping 17-5 ¼, and running 2:21.13 for 800-meters … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2016: Ran the top time on the team in the 400-meter hurdles in her freshman season and competed at the Pac-12 Championships … posted her 400m hurdles best of 1:00.87 at the UW-WSU Dual in Pullman, taking second overall … at the Pac-12 Championships in Seattle, finished 16th in the long hurdles in 1:02.11 … went 1:01.06 in the 400m hurdles at the Beach Invitational for 13th overall … took seventh in the hurdles in her outdoor opener at the Pac-12 vs Big Ten Invite with a time of 1:01.98 … the Ken Shannon Invite runner-up in the 400m hurdles in 1:01.57 … ran on the 4x100m relay at the Dual Meet, taking second in 47.40 … indoors, raced at five meets focusing on the 200-meters and 60-meter hurdles … a 200m best of 26.02 at the UW Invitational … best 60m hurdles time of 9.12 at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in Fort Collins, Colorado … parents are Sandy and Kent Lester … has one older sister, Ashly … set the new Colorado state record with her winning 300m hurdles time of 41.18 seconds in the 5A state finals in 2014 … also won the 300m hurdles state title in 2013 as a sophomore … missed the state meet as a senior with an injury, but came back to race the 400m hurdles at 2015 New Balance Outdoor Nationals, finishing eighth in 1:00.73 … her 41.18 300m hurdles time ranked fourth nationally in 2014 … also finished in the top-four in the 100m hurdles at the 5A state meet in her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons … ran a 100m hurdles PR in 2015 of 14.05 … ran at the 2014 U.S. Junior Track & Field Championships, taking 14th in the 400m hurdles prelims in a time of 1:01.30 … won the state indoors titles in 2015 in the 60m hurdles, running 8.61 seconds, and the 200-meters in 24.76 … her 8.61 time in the 60m hurdles ranked 14th nationally in 2015 … graduated with a 3.55 GPA and considering studying marine biology.
