2018-19 (Track): Reached the Pac-12 final and the quarterfinal round of NCAAs in the 1,500-meters in her final track season … ran a 1,500-meters season-best of 4:19.84 in the first round of West Prelims in Sacramento to advance to the quarterfinals … in the NCAA quarterfinals, finished 21st overall in 4:26.50 … ninth in the Pac-12 1,500-meters final in Tucson with a time of 4:23.95 … won the 1,500-meters at the UW-WSU Dual in 4:31.42 … opened the outdoor season with a 1,500m time of 4:22.92 at the Stanford Invitational … indoors, was eighth in the mile at the MPSF Championships in 4:43.97 … clocked a season-best mile of 4:43.86 at the Husky Classic … ran a pair of 3k’s with a best time of 9:31.85 at the UW Invitational.
2017-18 (Track): Ran a limited outdoor season due to injury after a full indoor season … ran at the Pac-12 Championships in her first meet in over a month, finishing 19th in the 1,500-meters in 4:39.59 … opened her outdoor season running 4:21.47 for 1,500-meters at the Stanford Invitational … indoors, helped the distance medley relay win the MPSF Championship title, running the opening 1,200m leg, with a time of 11:07.43 that ranked sixth in school history … 14th in the mile at MPSFs in 4:43.93 … ran a season-best mile time of 4:40.61 at the Husky Classic … also posted a 4:43.39 mile at the UW Invitational and ran on the DMR that finished in 11:08.83 … opened her year with a 9:20.91 3k at the UW Indoor Preview … a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honoree ... earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention ... 2016-17 (Track): Redshirted the track season ... 2015-16 (Track): Put together an excellent sophomore season, running the fourth-fastest 1,500m time in school history and reaching her first career NCAA Championships … just missed the 1,500m final at her first NCAA Outdoor meet, running 4:16.41 in the semis to finish 14th overall and earn All-America Second Team honors … advanced to her first NCAA final site in the 1,500m by winning her quarterfinal with the second-fastest time at West Prelims, going 4:18.39 ... in her first Pac-12 final at 1,500-meters, finished fourth in a closely contested 4:19.01, then came back later the same day to take fifth in the 5,000-meters in 16:18.15 ... a huge breakthrough run to finish as the top collegiate at the Payton Jordan Invitational, where she ran a 1,500m time of 4:12.62 that jumped her to No. 4 on the top-10 list and ranked as one of the top times in the NCAA ... took a win in the 3,000-meters at the UW-WSU Dual and also ran an 800m PR to take second in 2:07.82 ... a come-from-behind win on the rail in the 1,500-meters at the Pepsi Team Invitational, as she beat a very strong field to run in 4:19.84 ... set a then-personal best of nearly seven seconds in her first outdoor race, going 4:17.96 in the 1,500-meters at the Stanford Invite ... indoors, had the best 3,000m time on the squad, running 9:12.38 at the Husky Classic to move to sixth on the top-10 list ... also ran a mile PR of 4:40.41 at the UW Invitational ... led off a DMR that posted a time of 11:26.25 at the UW Invitational ... a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection ... named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team ... also a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team selection ... 2014-15 (Track): Ran a full outdoor season from 800-meters up to 5,000-meters and competing at her first Pac-12 Championships … finished 15th in both the 1,500-meters as well as the 5,000-meters at the Pac-12 meet in Los Angeles, running a season-best 4:26.07 in the 1,500m and a time of 17:01.52 in her first collegiate 5k … finished third in the 1,500m at the UW-WSU Dual in 4:29.85 and was fifth in the 800-meters in 2:15.21 … traveled to the Drake Relays, helping the Huskies take second in the 4x800-meter relay in 8:36.59, and third in the DMR in 11:17.54, as she ran the 800-meter leg … opened her outdoor season at the Pepsi Team Invitational in Eugene, taking sixth in the 1,500m in 4:28.74 … competed just once indoors, running a 4x800m relay leg at the UW Indoor Preview ... High School and Personal: Born in Santa Cruz, California … parents are Tracy and Jeff Maxwell … has one sister, Katie … one of the most successful runners in the country over the past two years … the 2013 California state cross country champion at the Division IV level, winning state by forty-four seconds … a Foot Locker All-American, finishing fifth at the 2013 National Championships as the top placer on the West squad … also 24th at Foot Locker Nationals as a sophomore in 2011 and 28th as a freshman in 2010 … named one of the 2013 Reebok Top 25 Most Dynamic Athletes in all high school sports ... took second at the 2013 U.S. World Youth Trials in the 1,500-meters, running 4:25.93 to qualify for the World Youth Championships … at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, she advanced to the 1,500m final and placed ninth overall in a PR of 4:23.75 … ranked second nationally in the 1,600-meters on the track with a best of 4:42.14 set in a win at her SCCAL league finals … ran a 3,200m best of 10:04.81 to take fourth at the 2014 Arcadia Invite, a time that ranked her No. 5 in the nation in 2014 … ran the mile at the 2014 Brooks PR Invite, taking third in 4:44.07 … was chosen as a member of Team USA for the 2014 Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country race, taking 11th in the junior 4k race to help the U.S. to second-place … captured the D-IV state championship on the track at 1,600-meters as a junior in 2013 and took third in the 3,200-meters … as a senior on the track, took second at state in the 800-meters in a PR of 2:08.32, but fell up front in the 1,600m finals and finished 11th … placed sixth in the mile at the 2013 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in 4:51.51 … as a junior ran 4:42.57 in the 1,600-meters to rank No. 6 in the nation, and her 3,200m time of 10:10.51 at the Arcadia Invite ranked fifth in the U.S. that year … swept the 800m, 1,600m, and 3,200m at her league meet in 2014 … a great freshman season as she was third at state cross country and ninth in the 3,200m on the track ... named her school’s Scholar Athlete of the Year as a senior and Female Athlete of the Year … Santa Cruz Sentinel Athlete of the Year in track and cross country … won the Nike Pre-National Jim Danner Award in 2012 … graduated with a 4.32 GPA and was a class salutatorian … also lettered in soccer, and competed in equestrian events with her horse Lolly Pop.
