2019: One of the great stories of the season, as she had a big breakthrough in what could have been her final career meet at the Ken Shannon Invitational, and then carried that on to score at the Pac-12 Championships and make her first NCAA Prelims appearance in the javelin โฆ went into the Ken Shannon Meet, the regular season finale, on the outside looking in for the Pac-12 travel roster, but threw a 12-foot season-best and 10-foot career-best of 150-11 to earn herself another meet โฆ at the Pac-12 Championships she then added five more feet to her PR with a toss of 155-4 to shatter the form chart and finish in fifth-place, also qualifying for West Prelims โฆ closed out her career placing 23rd at West Prelims in Sacramento with a mark of 147-6 โฆ prior to her big run during May, her season-best had been 138-8 at the Beach Invitational โฆ also was second in the javelin at the UW-WSU Dual at 132-8.
2018: Threw the javelin four times on the year including setting a new PR โฆ opened the year throwing a PR of 140-11 at the Trojan Invitational to finish sixth โฆ took fifth in the javelin at the UW-WSU Dual with a best of 133-1 โฆ threw 133-4 at the Stanford Invitational โฆ eighth at the Ken Shannon Invite with a toss of 135-7 โฆ picked up Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2017: Ranked second on the squad in the javelin and competed at the Pac-12 Championships for a second time โฆ had a season-best throw of 137-5 at the Trojan Invitational, placing fifth โฆ at the Pac-12 meet in Eugene, threw 131-5 for 17th-place โฆ threw 131-3 at the Stanford Invitational for third in the collegiate section โฆ sixth in the UW-WSU Dual with a best toss of 125-2 โฆ a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2016: Scored in the javelin at her first ever Pac-12 Championships as a true freshman โฆ threw the javelin 135-6 at the Pac-12 Championships, grabbing eighth-place and a point for the Dawgs โฆ her season-best throw was 138-6 at the UW-WSU Dual for second-place โฆ first career meet at the Pepsi Team Invitational, throwing the javelin 133-0 for seventh โฆ was runner-up at the Ken Shannon Invite with a best of 135-10.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle โฆ parents are Trudy and Jeff Taylor โฆ has one older sister, Stephanie โฆ parents both rowed for the Husky crew team โฆ the Washington 2A state champion as a senior in the javelin throw, helping her team to the state title โฆ won the state title with a big career-best throw of 136-feet, 8-inches โฆ won the WesCo title as a junior and a senior in the javelin โฆ was third at state her junior year with a throw of 127-6 โฆ threw 130-feet for the first time in a tri-meet in 2014, going 130-3 โฆ also threw the discus regularly, with a PR of 110-9 her senior year โฆ graduated with a 4.0 GPA โฆ interested in studying graphic design and business.
