Yulia Grabovskaia enters her first season with Washington.
2024-25 (JUNIOR)
Before transferring to the Huskies, Grabovskaia played a season with Michigan, where she made 33 appearances and recorded one start. In a four-game stretch, she recorded a double- figure point total against LIU (11/20), Long Beach State (11/24), and Virginia Tech (11/30). Grabovskaia finished just shy of a double-double against Akron (12/10), notching 12 points and nine rebounds in 14 minutes of action. She was a difference-maker in two meetings with Maryland, recording 11 points and five rebounds in the initial meeting between the two teams (2/17), before finishing 4-for-4 from the floor with nine points and five rebounds in the third round of the Big Ten Tournament against the Terrapins (3/7). Grabovskaia averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds her junior season while shooting 48.0% from the field (71-148).
2023-24 (SOPHOMORE)
Before arriving in Ann Arbor, Grabovskaia spent a season with Middle Tennessee, where she made appearances in 34 of 35 games. Connecting on 59.5 percent of her shot attempts, she recorded a season-high 14-point performance against Northern Kentucky (12/20). Against UTEP (3/13), Grabovskaia collected a career-high 16 rebounds. She pulled in five or more rebounds in 10 games with Middle Tennessee, including a nine-rebound performance against New Mexico State (2/15). Grabovskaia tallied two steals against Liberty (3/6). She finished her sophomore season averaging 3.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 0.4 steals.
PERSONAL
Yulia is the daughter of Alexey and Natalia Grabovskaia and hails from Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Before competing for Middle Tennessee, she played for both the U18 and U20 Russian national teams, where she averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in five games at the 2021 FIBA U20 Women’s European Challengers. Before coming to the United States, Grabovskaia attended Rostov Regional School of Olympic Reserve. Yuli is the daughter of Alexey and Natalia Grabovskaia.
