Chloe Briggs enters her third season with Washington.
2024-25 (SOPHOMORE)
Briggs knocked down almost every shot she took against Siena (11/10), recording 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting. She was a major contributor in a win against Penn State (2/5), recording 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. Briggs added 10 more points against Oregon (3/2), knocking down three 3-pointers. She dished out a career-high five assists against Southern (11/27) in the Pink Flamingo Championship. Making 13 starts in 33 games, Briggs averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds. In her sophomore campaign, Briggs improved her overall shooting percentage by just under 12 percent (43.7%, 38-87).
2023-24 (FRESHMAN)
After making her debut against Sacramento State (11/6), she collected a career-high seven rebounds against NC Central (11/9). Behind three 3-pointers, Briggs posted her first double-digit scoring effort against Pacific (11/15) with 11 points. She made six starts in her freshman season, with her first coming in a win against No. 21 Washington State (12/10). Briggs added another 14 points against Saint Mary’s (12/16), finishing the game with four 3-pointers. She finished her freshman season shooting 35.7% from behind the arc off 70 attempts, a mark that is tied for No. 6 for 3-point field goal percentage by a freshman in program history. On the defensive end of the floor, she collected a career-high three steals against Arizona State (2/16). In 31 appearances, Briggs averaged 3.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. She finished the season shooting 32.4% from the floor (36-111) and 35.7% from behind the arc (25-70).
HIGH SCHOOL
Briggs joined the Huskies after a historic career at Ontario Christian High School. During her four years, Briggs managed to set nearly every record for the Knights and led her team to an undefeated, 50-0 record in league play. Briggs finished her high school career as the No. 93 prospect in the ESPN 100. Briggs burst onto the scene as a freshman, with her 33.8 points per game registering as the highest in Ontario Christian program history. Additionally, the Chino native set single-season records in points (1,216), assists (231), steals (176), and field goal percentage (46.8%). Her dominance on the court continued over the next three years, culminating in a historic 32-point performance that propelled Briggs past Cheryl Miller to become the CIF Southern Section career points leader with 3,458. At the end of her career, she left Ontario Christian as the all-time assist leader with 951. In aggregate, Briggs averaged a remarkable 28.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per game over four years.
She won four Ambassador League Championships, placed second at state three times, and achieved a remarkable 112-17 win-loss record. Briggs was named CIF Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022, Ambassador League Player of the Year in 2020, 2021, and 2023, and was a four-time First Team All-CIF selection. Briggs also received the John Wooden Award in 2020 and 2022, along with a nomination to the 2023 McDonald's All American Game. Outside of her time with the Knights, Briggs was a member of Cal Storm Team Taurasi alongside teammates Hannah Stines, Elle Ladine, and Shayla Gillmer.
PERSONAL
Chloe is the oldest child of Kim and Jason Briggs and has two sisters, Kailee and Crystal. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with some video games or heading to the beach to surf. Briggs intends to study Sociology.
