2024 Cross Country: Raced twice during the fall β¦ competed at Pre-Nationals, placing 211th overall and seventh on the team in 24:53 β¦ at the season-opening Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invite, was 31st overall in the open race β¦ named to the Fall Academic All-Big Ten Team.
2024 Track: Redshirted the season, competing unattached during the indoor season β¦ had a top mile time indoors of 4:12.95 at the UW Invitational, running unattached.
2023 Cross Country: Redshirted the fall.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle β¦ parents are Julie and Marc Schneider β¦ both parents rowed crew at the University of Washington, and Marc went on to row for the U.S. National Team at the 1996 Olympic Games (winning bronze in the lightweight coxless four) and in the 2000 Olympic Games β¦ has one younger sister, Audrey β¦ fourth in the 2-mile at 2022 Brooks PR Invite β¦ placed 11th in the mile at the 2022 Nike Outdoor Nationals in 4:12.04 β¦ as a junior in 2022, swept the Washington 3A State track titles at 1,600-meters (4:07.65) and 3,200-meters (9:00.36) β¦ the 2021 Washington 3A cross country champion also leading his team to the team title β¦ fifth at the 2021 Nike Cross Northwest Regional meet β¦ awards include 2023 Metro League Student-Athlete Award and 2023 Ed Thenell Student-Athlete Award β¦ National Honor Society member.
