2026 Outdoors: Competed twice during the outdoor season, getting a best long jump of 17-9 1/2 (wind-aided) at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson.
2026 Indoors: Competed at three meets during the indoor season … best long jump of 17-8 at the UW Preview in the Dempsey … also had a 60m hurdles mark of 9.81 and a triple jump mark of 33-10 at the UW Invitational.
High School and Personal: Born in Augusta, Georgia … parents are Joanne and Micheal Edwards … has two older sisters, Dahlia and Alana … uncle, Allen Tunson, competed in track at the University of Pittsburgh … a two-time Ponte Vedra High School MVP and the jumps captain in 2024 and 2025 … as a senior, was fifth at the Florida 3A state championships in the long jump after placing eighth as a junior … the 2025 long jump regional and district champion … set the PVHS freshman record in the 100m hurdles … ranked sixth in the long jump in Florida in 2025 … honors and clubs included National Honor Society, National Chinese Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society), English National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America, Link Crew Leader, Florida Christian Athletes, Model United Nations, AP Scholar With Distinction Award, AP Scholar With Honors Award … interested in studying neuroscience.
