SAC Relays … garnered Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Spring Academic All-Big Ten honors.

2025: Competed at two meets outdoors in her freshman season … threw the discus a season-best 135-9 at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson … had a hammer throw of 118-0 at the Stanford Invitational … did not compete indoors.
High School and Personal: Full name Chichetaram Okemgbo … born in Richland, Wash. … parents are Marcelina and Christian Okemgbo … has one older sister, Amblessed, one younger sister, Oluebube, and two younger brothers, Chuks and Nk … Amblessed currently plays volleyball and competes in track at Whitworth University … as a senior in 2024, was third at Washington 1A state in the shot put and won the district title … also made state as a senior in the discus and in the triple jump … her junior year, third in state in the shot put and also qualified in the discus, javelin, and triple jump, competing in all four events … also lettered three years in volleyball, earning Second Team All-League, and two years in basketball … a National Honors Society member and Principal’s Honor Roll.
