2026 Outdoors: Raced the 400m hurdles for the first time at the Desert Heat Classic on May 2, running 1:05.32.
2026 Indoors: Competed at four meets in her first season, primarily in the 60m hurdles … ran a season-best in the 60m hurdles of 9.13 at the Husky Classic, taking fourth … also ran 9.19 at the UW Invitational for 17th overall … collegiate debut at the Spokane Invitational on Dec. 13 of 2025, running 9.38 for the hurdles and 43.30 for the 300-meters.
High School and Personal: Parents are Lisa Avestedt and Dennis Nordlund … has one older brother, Ludvig … born in Åre, Sweden … high school team’s most outstanding athlete from 2023-24 and team MVP in 2025 … an All-Peninsula League selection … top-20 at 2025 Nike Outdoor Nationals, placing 19th in the 100m hurdles … as a senior, won the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles in the Peninsula league final … third in the 100m hurdles and second in the 300m hurdles at 2025 CCS championships … finished 18th at the 2025 CIF state championships in the 100m hurdles and 19th in the 300m hurdles … also won Peninsula League title in the 100m hurdles in 2024 and 2023, and was runner-up in the 300m hurdles each year … also lettered in flag football.
