2026 Outdoors: Limited by injury … competed at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships but did not record a fair mark in the triple jump ... a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Spring Academic All-Big Ten Team member.
2026 Indoors: Capped the indoor season with the best mark of her career in the triple jump at Big Ten Indoors, going 41-2 1/2 to place 16th overall … that mark was the No. 2 mark in UW history indoors and the best in 23 years … leaped 39-9 1/4 at the Don Kirby Elite Invite on Feb. 14 … was fifth at the UW Invitational with a mark of 39-3 … opened the year going 39-0 1/4 at the UW Preview.
2025 Outdoors: Ended the season with a new career-best in the triple jump, going over 40-feet for the first time at the Big Ten Championships, with a mark of 40-4 3/4 to finish 16th overall … had previously improved her PR to 39-5 1/4 at the Mt. SAC Relays … a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recipient and Spring Academic All-Big Ten.
2025 Indoors: Competed at the Big Ten Indoor Championships and posted an indoor PR of 39-2 1/4 to finish 23rd overall in the triple jump … took fourth at the UW Invitational with a mark of 38-8 3/4.
2024: Did not compete.
2023: Competed in the long and triple jumps in her first season … best marks came outdoors, where she had a season-best of 38-6 ¼ at the Fresno State Invite to place ninth in the triple jump … finished 15th in the triple at the Aztec Invitational going 38-4 … indoors, best triple jump of 37-11 ½ at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet.
High School and Personal: Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan … parents are David and Cynthia Bir … has one older brother, Alexander, and one older sister, Rebecca … the California CIF Southern Section triple jump champion, and third-place finisher in the long jump … fifth in the triple jump at the Mt. SAC Relays with a wind-aided 38-3 ¾ … Calabasas Scholar Athlete of the Year … her high school’s salutatorian … CSF member and biliteracy seal … interested in majoring in neuroscience.
