2025: Competed at two meets outdoors in her freshman season β¦ threw the discus a season-best 135-9 at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson β¦ had a hammer throw of 118-0 at the Stanford Invitational β¦ did not compete indoors.
High School and Personal: Full name Chichetaram Okemgbo β¦ born in Richland, Wash. β¦ parents are Marcelina and Christian Okemgbo β¦ has one older sister, Amblessed, one younger sister, Oluebube, and two younger brothers, Chuks and Nk β¦ Amblessed currently plays volleyball and competes in track at Whitworth University β¦ as a senior in 2024, was third at Washington 1A state in the shot put and won the district title β¦ also made state as a senior in the discus and in the triple jump β¦ her junior year, third in state in the shot put and also qualified in the discus, javelin, and triple jump, competing in all four events β¦ also lettered three years in volleyball, earning Second Team All-League, and two years in basketball β¦ a National Honors Society member and Principalβs Honor Roll.
