2025 Outdoors: Set several PRs during her sophomore season in the horizontal jumps β¦ went past 40-feet in the triple jump for the first time in the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, setting a PR of 40-3 1/4 to finish 17th overall β¦ also had a triple jump of 39-6 1/2 at the Mt. SAC Relays β¦ in the long jump, had a PR of 19-7 1/2 at the Desert Heat Classic β¦ at the Stanford Invite to start the outdoor season, ran the 100m hurdles in 15.15 and the 200m in 26.15 β¦ picked up Spring Academic All-Big Ten honors.
2025 Indoors: Focused on the multis, setting a PR in every event in the pentathlon β¦ had a pentathlon score of 3,446 at the UW Invitational to place eighth β¦ competed in the pentathlon at Big Ten Indoors but had a no-height in the high jump β¦ set a 60m hurdles best of 9.07.
2024: Competed in the long and triple jumps, with some sprinting mixed in β¦ outdoors, had a season-best long jump of 18-3 ΒΌ into a headwind, at the Brutus Hamilton Invite β¦ at the Fresno State Invite, ran the 100m hurdles in 15.46 and the 200-meters in 26.14 β¦ indoors, had a triple jump PR of 37-11 Β½ at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet β¦ indoor long jump best of 18-1 Β½ at the UW Invitational.
High School and Personal: Born in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin β¦ parents are Kerrie and Jarrod Washburn β¦ Kerrie was a track & field standout for University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the long and triple jumps from 1994-97 and in 2023 she was inducted into the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame β¦ Jarrod Washburn had a 12-year Major League Baseball career for the Anaheim Angels, Seattle Mariners, at Detroit Tigers, winning 107 games as a starting pitcher and helping the Angels win the 2002 World Series when he won 18 games β¦ has two older brothers, Jack and Owen, who both play collegiate baseball at Texas Tech β¦ won five individual Wisconsin state titles at the D3 level winning the long jump and the 300m hurdles as a senior in 2023, and winning the 100m hurdles, long jump, and triple jump as a junior in 2022 while taking second in the 300m hurdles β¦ also a standout volleyball player, earning West-Lakeland All-Conference First Team in 2021 and 2022, and was a three-time All-State honorable mention β¦ was president of the student council, president of the business club, member of yearbook club and Spanish club, and National Honor Society V.P. β¦ named to Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association All-Academic Team.
