Did not play in 2020 due to Covid-19 cancellations … was first team WESCO All-League as a designated hitter and second team as a pitcher in 2019 … as a junior, hit .386 in 70 at bats with 2 home runs, a triple, 8 doubles and 17 runs batted in … struck out 68 hitters in 36.1 innings … second team All-League designated hitter as a sophomore in 2018, helping Edmonds-Woodway to the 3A State Finals … played for head coach Daniel Samoza.

Father, Tom, is a pilot and mother, Robin, is a flight attendant … has two older brothers, Jack and Brock … dad played semi-professional soccer for FC Seattle … played summer ball for Washington Rush … hobbies include fishing, basketball, wiffle ball and spending time with family … favorite TV shows include The Mandalorian and The Office … favorite musician are Post Malone, Juice WRLD and 80’s rap … interested in majoring in business.
GETTING TO KNOW THOMAS BLAHOUS
WHY THOMAS LOVES BASEBALL: The community that comes hand in hand with baseball. How it requires the most chemistry within teammates amongst all the other sports. Teaches hundreds of life lessons. The feeling I get when striking someone out. Gives me life and energy.
WHY WASHINGTON: I grew up a Husky. It runs in my family for three generations. My whole childhood was Purple and Gold. I love the coaching staff already. They have a clear goal in mind for each player.
FAVORITE PLAYER: Clayton Kershaw: An inspiration to me my whole life. A "good husky" on and off the field. Charitable, great character, family man. Competitiveness, preparedness, longevity and consistency.
