Did not play in 2020 due to COVID-19 cancellations โฆย No. 14 ranked player in Washington according to Baseball Northwest and No. 16 by Prep Baseball Report โฆ represented the Royals at the 2019 Area Code Games โฆ helped Ellensburg win back-to-back 2A Washington State Championships โฆ All-League in 2019ย โฆ played for Todd Gibson at Ellensburg HS โฆ also played basketball.

Father, Jeff, is a manager โฆ has an older brother, Bennett โฆ interested in majoring in sports medicine and becoming a trainer or working in construction management โฆ played summer ball for Mudville 9 โฆ favorite movie is Hacksaw Ridge โฆ favorite TV show is Malcolm in the Middle โฆ likes to listen to Kodak and Lil Baby โฆ favorite team is the San Francisco Giants.

GETTING TO KNOW DAVIS SPENCER

WHY WASHINGTON:ย I chose Washington because it immediately felt like home and I wanted my dad to be able to come watch me play.
ย
WHY DAVIS LOVES BASEBALL:ย Baseball is a gateway to a happiness that can only achieved through hard work, work ethic and dedication. The payoff is indescribable.
ย ย
FAVORITE PLAYER: Gerrit Cole. We grew up in the same town, and I feel like I reflect a lot of similar characteristics as him.

Coach Meggs on Spencer:ย When itโs all said and done, we believe Davis Spencer is going to be one of those classic Northwest power arms.ย ย Standing almost 6-foot-7, Davis has tremendous tilt on the fastball and is already a very uncomfortable at bat for both right- and left-handed hitters.ย ย Along with the obvious upside, Davis is also a good competitor with a great work ethic. And once the slider and the change up catch up to his fastball, we believe Davis has a chance to be an All-Pac-12 performer
