2019: Did not play in order to utilize a redshirt season while recovering from a surgical procedure.

Named to the 2018 All-Avocado West First Team … was twice All-Academic, 2018 and 2019 … was coached at Torrey Pines by Kirk McCaskill.
PERSONAL
Parents are John and Kathleen Schreiber – both UW alums … dad, John, was a UW Baseball letter winner in 1990 and is currently the CEO at InfoArmor … has two older sisters, Kaitlin and Morgan, and a younger brother, Matt … plans on majoring in architecture … has played summer ball with the San Diego Show and Pablo Alto PUF Caps … enjoys collecting baseball caps, watching movies, reading and watching sports in his free time … favorite movie is Transformers … favorite TV shows are That 70’s Show and Top Gear .. has a wide range of musical tastes including heavy metal, rock and country.
GETTING TO KNOW MIKE SCHREIBER
First baseball memory?
Being taught to by my dad how to field ground balls.
Greatest baseball memory?
Winning CIF championship 2018 San Diego Section.
Why I love baseball?
I love the sport and its intricacies but most of all I love being part of a team.
Pregame routine:
Hop the chalk. Same number of sips of water each inning. Big on “knock on wood”.
Favorite Player?
Craig Kimbrel. He throws gas.
Interesting facts about Mike
I collect new era baseball caps (over 215 hats and counting) … I have a pet Husky at home named “Reign” … I am very afraid of heights.
Why Washington?
It was a perfect fit for me and my interests, my parents both graduated from UW, my dad played baseball here.
