Parents are Mark and Katie Kresnak โฆ Mark is an attorney โฆ has an older brother, Tommy, and older sister, Hannah โฆ played summer ball for Zoots Baseball Club โฆ loves working on cars in his free time โฆ favorite movies is The Sandlot โฆ favorite TV show is Breaking Bad โฆ favorite teams are the Oakland Aโs and San Francisco Giants โฆ grandfather played football at Colorado โฆ interested in becoming a financial manager after his playing days are over.

WHY NICK LOVES BASEBALL:ย I love baseball because it has taught me how to be a team player and helped me grow up into the person I am today.

WHY WASHINGTON:ย I chose Washington because ever since I was a little kid I was a Husky fan. Plus, the coaching staff and facilities are top notch. When I was given the opportunity to come and play at UW it was a no-brainer for me. Also, Seattle is one of my favorite cities that I have ever been to.

Coach Meggs on Kresnak:ย We were drawn to Nick immediately because of his ability to hit for average, drive in runs and play third base.ย ย However, as Nickโs high school career has evolved, he has also proven to be an impact guy on the mound.ย ย Nickโs earned run average was 1.09 last year, so now weโre talking about a potential two-way guy.ย ย With all that being said, Nickโs greatest quality is that heโs simply a winner.ย ย At the end of the day, Nick is going to find a way to beat you.ย ย
