
Washington Set To Host Montana State Tuesday

SEATTLE -- Washington women's basketball (8-0, 0-0) continues their two-game homestand when the Huskies host Montana State (3-4, 0-0 Big Sky) for the 17th meeting all-time between the programs. The game vs. Montana State tips off Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. PT in Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Wash. The game will air on the Washington Live Stream with Jason Dorow on the call. Gary Hill will call the action on KJR 950 AM.

Newcomers - The Husky newcomers are freshmen Olivia Anderson, Chloe Briggs, Ari Long, and Sayvia Sellers. The four were ESPN.com's 14th-ranked recruiting class for the Class of 2023. All four made their Husky debuts during the season opener.
National Signing Day (Class of 2024) - Washington welcomed two new Huskies to the program on National Signing Day (11.08.23) with Devin Coppinger and Annika Soltau. Coppinger, a 5-10 guard from Everson, Wash. (Nooksack Valley High School), will be staying in-state to come to Washington. Coppinger was one of 50 girls named to the 2023-24 Jersey Mike's Naismith Girls High School Player of the Year Watch List (11.16). Soltau, a 6-4 forward from Freiburg, Germany (Eisvogel USC Freiburg), is coming from across the world to join the Huskies.

Winter Supplies Drive - Washington women's and men's basketball will collectively host a winter supplies drive in partnership with Seattle's Union Gospel Mission's "Season of Hope." The collection period will begin with both team's season openers on Monday, Nov. 6 and will continue through Dec. 9, when the men's team hosts Gonzaga. All new or gently used items will be collected at all basketball home games and can be dropped off inside the entrances of Alaska Airlines Arena.
