Joins the Huskies in 2024-25 after scoring at the NCAA D-III meet in 2024 for Pacific Lutheran University as a sophomore.
2024 At PLU: All-American as a sophomore as he placed sixth at the NCAA Division III Championships in the javelin with a PR of 206-feet, 10-inches … took second at the Northwest Conference Championships, throwing 197-6 … threw 193-9 at the GFU NCAA Final Qualifier.
2023 At PLU: Season-best javelin mark of 170-10 at the Lutes Spring Field Festival … placed 12th at the Northwest Conference Championships at 160-5.
High School and Personal: Born in Toledo, Wash. … parents are Pamela and Kevin Olmstead … has one brother, Conner … an all-around athlete who qualified for the Washington 2B state meet in the 300m hurdles, the 4x400m relay, and the javelin … won the 4x400m relay, was third in the javelin, and seventh in the 300m hurdles at state as a senior … senior season was only year competing in track in high school … also lettered in football and basketball and was All-Conference in both … member of the FFA and Honor Society.
