2025 Outdoor Track: Focused on the steeplechase, including competing at his first Big Ten Outdoor Championships β¦ at Big Tens, finished 23rd overall in the steeple β¦ took third in his steeple debut at the OSU High Performance Meet in 9:05.73 β¦ set a steeplechase PR of 8:55.20 at the Portland Track Festival in June, racing unattached β¦ a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar winner and also named Spring Academic All-Big Ten.
2025 Indoor Track: Competed unattached at three meets β¦ ran the 3,000-meters at the UW Invitational in a time of 8:23.22 β¦ at the Husky Classic, ran a 5,000-meters time of 14:32.97 unattached.
2024 Cross Country: Raced once during the fall, competing at Pre-Nationals in Wisconsin where he was the No. 8 Husky finisher in 236th-place overall β¦ named to the Fall Academic All-Big Ten Team.
2024 Track: Redshirted the season, competing indoors unattached β¦ ran the 3,000-meters three times indoors, with a best time of 8:17.39 at the UW Preview β¦ ran a mile at the UW Invitational in 4:10.85.
2023 Cross Country: Redshirted the season.
High School and Personal: Born in Lakewood, Washington β¦ parents are Lea and Curt Corvin β¦ father, Curt, was a Husky track and cross country letterwinner from 1984-88, earning All-America honors in the 10,000-meters in 1986 when he finished 8th at the NCAA Track Championships, and in cross country, when he was 27th at the 1986 NCAA Cross Country Championships β¦ has two younger siblings, Jax and Sonohma β¦ Curt Corvin also led UW at three-straight Pac-10 Cross Country Championships from 1984-86, finishing 17th then 9th then 6th, respectively, and he held the 10,000m UW record from 1986-2001 at 28:58 β¦ Cruize captured the 2022 Washington 3A State Cross Country Championship as a senior after also winning the Pierce County League title β¦ on the track as a senior, took second at 3A state in the 3,200-meters in 9:00.00 β¦ ran a mile in 4:11.47 at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays β¦ second at the UW High School Invitational in the Dempsey in 2023 with a 3,000m time of 8:26.12 β¦ seventh at the state XC meet as a junior β¦ won the 2020 virtual XC state meet during the pandemic β¦ 3-time Tacoma Athletic Commission XC Athlete of the Year and 2-time Track Athlete of the Year β¦ graduated at top of his class.
