2026 Big Ten Javelin Champion
2026: The Big Ten Champion in the javelin, part of a breakthrough season that saw her break the School Record multiple times … with her first throw of the season at the Stanford Invitational, improved her PR by 15 feet and broke a 15-year-old School Record, going 175-10 … picked the perfect time to break her own School Record again, throwing 179-6 at the Big Ten Championships on May 15 in Nebraska, becoming the first UW woman to win the conference javelin title since 1987, and the first UW woman to win any conference throwing event since 2000 … was third in the elite section at the Mt. SAC Relays going 174-8 … fourth at the Desert Heat Classic with a mark of 171-9 … 21st overall with a mark of 156-7 at NCAA West Prelims … a Spring Academic All-Big Ten selection … named USTFCCCA All-Academic.
2025: Had her best and most consistent season yet in the javelin, making the Big Ten final and competing at NCAA Prelims … threw a javelin PR of 160-1 at the Desert Heat Classic to take third and go to No. 10 in school history … placed ninth in the jav at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a throw of 159-8 … finished 21st overall at NCAA West Prelims in College Station, Texas, throwing 154-7 … opened the season with a then-PR of 158-4 at the Stanford Invitational, winning the collegiate section … earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors … named to the Spring Academic All-Big Ten team.
2024: Competed five times in the javelin including at the Pac-12 Championships … had a season-best javelin toss of 144-11 at the Mt. SAC Relays … placed 16th at Pac-12s with a throw of 136-4 … fourth at the Brutus Hamilton Invite with a mark of 137-9.
2023: Redshirted her first year.
High School and Personal: Born in Kirkland, Wash. … parents are Stacia and Jamie Schroeder … brother, Jayson Schroeder, was a second round draft pick of the Houston Astros and played four years in the minor leagues … the Washington 3A State Champion in the javelin as a senior in 2022, ranking ninth nationally with a PR of 151-0 … made state as just a freshman in 2019, placing eighth … a three-sport star, also earning 2nd Team All-KingCo in basketball, and was volleyball team captain … planning to major in Bioengineering.
