
Pacific In Town For Women’s Basketball Game Two of Season

SEATTLE – Washington women's basketball (1-0, 0-0 Big Ten) is set to face Pacific in game two of the 2024-25 season at home in Alaska Airlines Arena on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
The game will be available on B1G+ and Elise Woodward will be on the call. Gary Hill will call the game on 1090 KPTR-AM.
Thursday night is the second of three games at home this week for the Huskies, who will wrap up opening week with a first-time matchup with Siena at 2 p.m. on Sunday the 10th.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies made a statement in their first win of the season, beating crosstown rival Seattle U 95-53 and improving to 23-3 against the Redhawks.
Every Dawg played and every Dawg scored – with every Washington player registering 4+ points and 10+ minutes of action on Monday night.
Elle Ladine's 18 points led the Husky offense, which included five players in double-digits.
Teagan Brown notched a career-high 14 off the bench and Shayla Gillmer also reached a career-best seven points to go along with four rebounds and two assists.
Hannah Stines added 12, Dalayah Daniels finished with 11, and Sayvia Sellers chipped in 10 points and seven assists.
UW's 95 points Monday also marked the most by the Dawgs in a season opener since 2016 and the seventh straight home-opening win.
SCOUTING REPORT
The Pacific Tigers are also 1-0 to start the season as they defeated Stanislaus State 87-47 on Monday night.
The Huskies are 4-2 against Pacific with their most recent win coming last season in an 81-64 victory at home.
Pacific finished with a 19-15 record in 2023-24, including an even 8-8 in the WCC that placed them fifth in the conference.
