
Washington Concludes Rainbow Wahine Showdown Sunday vs. Host Hawaii

HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Washington women's basketball (6-0, 0-0) hits the road for the first time this season when the Huskies head to Honolulu for the Rainbow Wahine Showdown. In their final game of three, UW faces host Hawaii (2-4, 0-0 Big West) for the ninth meeting all-time between the programs. UW opened the season with four wins at home, and won their first two games of the tournament. The game vs. Hawaii tips off Sunday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. HT / 7 p.m. PT in SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The game will air on ESPN+ with Kanoa Leahey and Lori Santi on the call. Gary Hill will call the action on 1090 KPTR-AM.

Newcomers - The Husky newcomers are freshmen Olivia Anderson, Chloe Briggs, Ari Long, and Sayvia Sellers. The four were ESPN.com's 14th-ranked recruiting class for the Class of 2023. All four made their Husky debuts during the season opener.
National Signing Day (Class of 2024) - Washington welcomed two new Huskies to the program on National Signing Day (11.08.23) with Devin Coppinger and Annika Soltau. Coppinger, a 5-10 guard from Everson, Wash. (Nooksack Valley High School), will be staying in-state to come to Washington. Coppinger was one of 50 girls named to the 2023-24 Jersey Mike's Naismith Girls High School Player of the Year Watch List (11.16). Soltau, a 6-4 forward from Freiburg, Germany (Eisvogel USC Freiburg), is coming from across the world to join the Huskies.
