
Washington Closes Out Husky Classic on Tuesday

SEATTLE -- Washington (8-2) takes on SIUE (1-9) in the first meeting all-time between the programs to close out the Husky Classic in Alaska Airlines Arena. The game tips off Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. PT and will be aired on the Washington Live Stream (GoHuskies.com/Live) with Jason Dorow on the call. Gary Hill will call the action on 1090 KPTR-AM.
Last Time Out
In Sunday's Husky Classic opener vs. Liberty, Haley Van Dyke led the Huskies in scoring with 13 points. Hannah Stines was the other Husky in double digits with 12, and also recorded a career high three steals.

Fans will see six new faces on the team this season, as the Huskies welcomed four freshmen from California - Hannah Stines, Teagan Brown, Shayla Gillmer, and Elle Ladine - and two transfers, Dalayah Daniels (Cal) and Emma Grothaus (Lehigh).
Preseason Nods
Van Dyke earned Preseason All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition, and Grothaus was one of 20 players named to the 2023 Lisa Lisa Award Watch List.
