2024: Threw the javelin four times during the season, including at the Pac-12 Championships β¦ at the Pac-12 meet, placed 14th overall, with a best toss of 142-3 β¦ had a season-best throw of 148-8 at the Fresno State Invitational, good for sixth β¦ third in the collegiate javelin section at the Mt. SAC Relays, going 146-5 β¦ named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2023: Competed three times in the javelin β¦ season-best toss came at the Pac-12 Championships, going 148-3 to finish 10th β¦ opened the season throwing 144-0 at the Aztec Invitational β¦ named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2022: Advanced to NCAA Prelims once again in the javelin β¦ opened the season with a throw of 161-0 at the Raleigh Relays, her best toss of the year β¦ second at the UW-WSU Dual with a throw of 156-5 β¦ was ninth at the Pac-12 Championships, throwing 141-5 β¦ placed 38th overall at the NCAA West Prelims β¦ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team β¦ a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll member.
2021: Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims and set the UW Freshman Record in the javelin in her first season β¦ tossed a huge PR of 162-3 to get the win at the Jim Bush Legends Invite and set a Freshman Record, going to No. 5 in school history β¦ made the Pac-12 Championships final, taking ninth overall, throwing 150-6 β¦ at NCAA Prelims, placed 31st overall in the javelin, tossing 149-11 β¦ third in the UW-WSU Dual with a best throw of 147-11 β¦ made the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll β¦ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
High School and Personal: Born in Spokane, Washington β¦ parents are Paul and Maureen Horn β¦ has two older sisters, Claire and Charlotte β¦ has three cousins who all rowed crew at Washington, and two uncles who played football at Washington State β¦ one of the top javelin throwers in the state through her junior season, taking fourth at the 4A state championships in 2019 β¦ did not get to compete in senior season due to Covid pandemic β¦ set PR of 147-7 in the javelin as a junior β¦ had a toss of 146-8 as a sophomore in 2018 to win the District 8 championship and went on to take second-place at state β¦ two-time team track captain β¦ also played volleyball for four seasons, becoming a captain and team MVP as a senior and earning all-league honorable mention β¦ member of womenβs service organization Ancilla β¦ junior year was awarded Army Reserve scholar-athlete award β¦ graduated summa cum laude with a 3.98 GPA β¦ received Bobby Eton award for leadership and excellence in academics and athletics β¦ earned Greater Spokane Scholar-Athlete Award and St. Francis Xavier Award.
