2024: Competed twice during the indoor season โฆ opened the year running the 400-meters at the Spokane Invitational in 57.90 for seventh-place, and ran on the 4x400m that was second in 3:50.67 โฆ did not compete outdoors.
2023: Competed at three meets during the indoor season โฆ a season-best 400-meters of 59.12 at the UW Invitational and 200m best of 26.22 at the Husky Classic โฆ ran on two 4x400m relays, a best of 3:52.00 โฆ redshirted the outdoor season.
High School and Personal: Born in Tarzana, California โฆ parents are Lisa McCumber Gandara and John Gandara โฆ father played rugby at UCLA from 1987-90 โฆ a Scholar-Athlete from 2019-22 and Athlete of the Year over the same period โฆ ran a big 400-meters PR of 54.66 to win the CIF-SS Division 3 title her senior year in 2022 โฆ took third at the 2022 Arcadia Invitational, going 56.01 โฆ ran 24.48 in the 200-meters to take second at CIF-SS in 2022 โฆ won the Mission League 200m and 400m titles as a senior โฆ second at the 2021 Arcadia Invite 400-meters in 55.95 โฆ won the 2021 CIF-SS Division 3 finals at 400m in 55.65.
