
Washington To Face No. 16 USC For Big Ten Opener In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif. β Washington hits the road for the first conference game of the season when the Huskies face No. 16 USC for the 77th meeting all-time between the programs. UW has gotten off to an 8-0 start this season, powered by the No. 2 scoring defense in the country. The Trojans, meanwhile, are 6-2 with wins in their last three games.
The game at USC tips off Sunday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. PT in the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The game will air on Big Ten Network with Krista Blunk and Tammy Blackburn on the call. Gary Hill Jr. will call the action on 1090 KPTR-AM.

LAST SEASON
The Huskies ended a seven-year drought and clinched an NCAA Tournament berth after an impressive Big Ten debut. Washington led the conference in field goal percentage (49.5%), 3-point percentage (40.1%), and free throw percentage (83.6%) during conference play last season. Elle Ladine was named All-Big Ten Second Team, while Sayvia Sellers and Dalayah Daniels were named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.
