
Washington Hosts UC San Diego Friday

SEATTLE — Washington continues its homestand before the start of conference play by hosting UC San Diego for the first-ever meeting between the programs. UW has opened the season undefeated, powered by a defense that has limited opponents to just 47 points per game. UC San Diego is coming off of a Big West Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, and enters Friday's meeting 3-3 on the season.
The game vs. UC San Diego tips off Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:00 p.m. PT in Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Wash. The game will air on B1G+. Gary Hill Jr. will call the action on 1090 KPTR-AM.

The Huskies ended a seven-year drought and clinched an NCAA Tournament berth after an impressive Big Ten debut. Washington led the conference in field goal percentage (49.5%), 3-point percentage (40.1%), and free throw percentage (83.6%) during conference play last season. Elle Ladine was named All-Big Ten Second Team, while Sayvia Sellers and Dalayah Daniels were named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.
