
UW To Host Eastern Washington Thursday

SEATTLE – The Washington women's basketball team (3-0, 0-0 Big Ten) will host its fourth home matchup in as many games with Eastern Washington.
The game will be available on B1G+ and Elise Woodward and Jason Dorrow will be on the call. Gary Hill will call the game on 1090 KPTR-AM.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies handily defeated Siena in the first ever matchup between the two teams last Sunday, besting the Saints 94-51.
All 11 Dawgs scored in each of the first three games, led by Elle Ladine on Sunday who notched her third straight double-digit game with 21 points and a career-high five three-pointers.
UW shot an electric 50 percent from behind the arc (14-of-28), while limiting Siena to just two triples and a 33.9 field goal percentage.
Washington matched a school record with 33 points in the first quarter while holding Siena to under 15 points across every frame.
Chloe Briggs added a career-high 15 points on an efficient 7-for-8 shooting, while Hannah Stines added 14 more and a game-high five assists.
SCOUTING REPORT
Eastern Washington is 1-1 so far this season with its first loss coming in a nailbiter with Washington State, 83-82.
Most recently, EWU defeated Walla Walla University 81-33 on Nov. 9.
Eastern Washington concluded the 2023-24 season with a 29-6 record, finishing first in the Big Sky Conference, Big Sky Tournament Champions, and with a 16-2 league record.
The Huskies are 29-1 all-time against EWU, with their last and only loss coming in 1980.

Washington added four more Dawgs to the pack Wednesday on Signing Day, inking Brynn McGaughy (Spokane, Wash.), Nina Cain (Sacramento, Calif.), Bryn Martin (Springboro, Ohio), and Sienna Harvey (Australia).
