2023: Lowered his PRs indoors and out … a season-best 400-meters time of 48.41 at the Aztec Invitational on Mar. 25 … also raced at the Mt. SAC Relays, going 48.56 … indoors, had a season-best 48.61 at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Invite on Feb. 25 … ran on three 4x400m relays indoors, the best running 3:13.49 at the Husky Classic for the win.
2022: Had a season-best 400-meters time of 48.55 at the Portland Track Festival in June … was third in the 400m at the UW-WSU Dual in 49.03 and fourth in the 200m in 22.57 … indoors, best 400m time was 50.27 at the Spokane Invitational … a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll member.
2021: Redshirted the season ... a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll selection.
High School and Personal: Born in Portland, Oregon … parents are Davorin and Jill Baricevic … has one older sister, Mia, and two younger brothers, Anton and Max … father rowed crew at Santa Clara … as a junior was the Portland 6A state runner-up in the 400-meters and won the state title on the 4x400m relay and was second on the 4x100m relay … did not get to compete as a senior due to the Covid-19 pandemic … set a 400m PR of 48.95 seconds in winning the Metro League title in 2019 … raced at the 2020 UW High School Invitational indoors at the Dempsey and took third in the 400m in 50.80 … clocked a 22.34 200-meter time in a time trial in May of 2020 … anchored 4x4 to school record of 3:18.04 at the 2019 Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays … an honor roll student and all-star academic award winner.
