2024: Threw the javelin four times during the season, including at the Pac-12 Championships … at the Pac-12 meet, placed 14th overall, with a best toss of 142-3 … had a season-best throw of 148-8 at the Fresno State Invitational, good for sixth … third in the collegiate javelin section at the Mt. SAC Relays, going 146-5 … named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2023: Competed three times in the javelin … season-best toss came at the Pac-12 Championships, going 148-3 to finish 10th … opened the season throwing 144-0 at the Aztec Invitational … named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2022: Advanced to NCAA Prelims once again in the javelin … opened the season with a throw of 161-0 at the Raleigh Relays, her best toss of the year … second at the UW-WSU Dual with a throw of 156-5 … was ninth at the Pac-12 Championships, throwing 141-5 … placed 38th overall at the NCAA West Prelims … named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team … a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll member.
2021: Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims and set the UW Freshman Record in the javelin in her first season … tossed a huge PR of 162-3 to get the win at the Jim Bush Legends Invite and set a Freshman Record, going to No. 5 in school history … made the Pac-12 Championships final, taking ninth overall, throwing 150-6 … at NCAA Prelims, placed 31st overall in the javelin, tossing 149-11 … third in the UW-WSU Dual with a best throw of 147-11 … made the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll … named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
High School and Personal: Born in Spokane, Washington … parents are Paul and Maureen Horn … has two older sisters, Claire and Charlotte … has three cousins who all rowed crew at Washington, and two uncles who played football at Washington State … one of the top javelin throwers in the state through her junior season, taking fourth at the 4A state championships in 2019 … did not get to compete in senior season due to Covid pandemic … set PR of 147-7 in the javelin as a junior … had a toss of 146-8 as a sophomore in 2018 to win the District 8 championship and went on to take second-place at state … two-time team track captain … also played volleyball for four seasons, becoming a captain and team MVP as a senior and earning all-league honorable mention … member of women’s service organization Ancilla … junior year was awarded Army Reserve scholar-athlete award … graduated summa cum laude with a 3.98 GPA … received Bobby Eton award for leadership and excellence in academics and athletics … earned Greater Spokane Scholar-Athlete Award and St. Francis Xavier Award.
