2016: Made his first appearance at NCAA West Prelims as part of the Husky 4x400-meter relay โฆ at West Prelims in Kansas, helped the 4x4 run a time of 3:09.70 to finish 19th overall โฆ anchored the 4x4 when it posted its top time of the year, 3:09.59, at the Pepsi Team Invite for second-place โฆ top 400m time of the season was 48.58 at the Ken Shannon Invite โฆ fifth in the 400m at the UW-WSU Dual in 48.90 โฆ also ran the 800-meters, finishing eighth at the Pepsi Team Invite in 1:52.41 โฆ indoors, ran the 400m leg on the DMR at the MPSF Championships, helping the team finish sixth in 9:53.42 and ran on the eighth-place finishing 4x400m relay in 3:14.81 โฆ set an indoor PR in the 400m at the UW Indoor Open running 48.72 โฆ part of winning DMR at the UW Invitational in a time of 9:37.72, running the 800m leg โฆ a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2015: Moved up from the quarter mile to compete primarily at 800-meters ranking third on the team indoors and outdoors at the distance โฆ outdoors, ran his best 800-meters at the Baldy Castillo Invite in Tempe, going 1:51.84 โฆ traveled to the Drake Relays and ran the 400-meter leg on the distance medley relay which took second in 9:43.11, and also ran on the 4x800m relay that was ninth โฆ fifth in the 800m at the UW-WSU Dual in 1:52.54 โฆ fourth in the 800m and second in the 4x400m relay at the Pepsi Team Invite โฆ raced at the Mt. SAC Relays, going 1:52.08 to take fourth in his section โฆ indoors, finished 13th in the 800m at the MPSF Championships in a PR of 1:51.16, and also ran on the ninth-place finishing 4x400m relay โฆ at the Husky Classic, ran 1:52.15 to finish 33rd overall in the 800m.
2014: Competed at both conference championship meets indoors and out โฆ ran on the 4x400-meter relay team at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing ninth in 3:16.17 โฆ ran a season-best 400-meters of 49.35 at the Washington Open โฆ sixth in the 400m at the UW-WSU Dual in 49.41 and ran on the 4x400m relay, second in 3:16.14 โฆ indoors, placed 19th overall in the 400-meters in 49.43 and ran on the 4x400m relay that took 11th in 3:19.52 โฆ ran 49.42 seconds at the Husky Classic for 10th, and the relay clocked 3:15.71 for third-place.
2013: Enjoyed a solid freshman season though it was cut short due to injury midway through the outdoor campaign โฆ prior to the injury, he had been a regular in the 4x400m relay, including running the anchor leg on the fastest effort of the season, and fastest at UW in five years, when the team ran 3:09.38 at the Stanford Invitational โฆ that time qualified the 4x400m relay for NCAA West Prelims, though he would not be able to run at that meet โฆ fastest open 400-meter time of the year was 48.34 seconds in the outdoor season opener at the Trojan Invitational, where he was ninth โฆ also ran 49.18 to take eighth in the 400m at the Pepsi Team Invite โฆ indoors, took fourth in the 400m at the UW Final Qualifier in an indoor best of 48.92.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle ... parents are Tanja and Mark Prentice ... has one younger sister, Kendyl ... both parents attended Washington ... a standout quarter-miler, placed second at the Washington 3A state meet as a senior in the 400-meters, clocking a personal-best of 48.39 seconds ... won WesCo and district titles in the 400m as a senior ... competed at the Arcadia Invite in California and won his heat, taking seventh overall in 49.44 ... as a junior, was third at state in the 400-meters, running 50.59 in the finals ... also ran at state on the 4x400-meter relay as a sophomore, junior, and senior, with a best of seventh as a junior ... focused on the 800-meters as a sophomore, running a top time of 2:00.55 ... earned Eagle Scout status with Troop 137 ... graduated with a 3.57 GPA.
