
UW Versus UW Battle Set For Women’s Hoops On January 7

SEATTLE – The Washington women's basketball team (11-4, 2-1 Big Ten) will return home for the first home game of 2025, welcoming the Wisconsin Badgers to Alaska Airlines Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m.
The action will be broadcast on Big Ten Network and Elise Woodward (play-by-play) and Alyssa Charlston (analyst) will be on the call. Gary Hill will call the game on 950 KJR-AM.
Tuesday's game will be UW's Girly Pop Night, as well as Welcome Pack Dawg Pack Night. More info can be found here.

The Huskies are on a four-game win streak, coming off two Husky Classic wins at home and two conference road wins over Northwestern and Illinois.
Elle Ladine was named to the Big Ten Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll (Jan. 6) after dropping 40 points in a UW win at Northwestern. After becoming just the fourth UW player to drop 40 in a game, Ladine was named a U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) National Player of the Week and AP Women's Basketball Player of the Week honorable mention (Dec. 31).
Dalayah Daniels recorded her 21st career double-double against Illinois with 16 points and 12 rebounds, moving her into 9th-most career double-doubles in UW history.
During Washington's road stretch in Illinois, Hannah Stines reached her 300th career rebound against Northwestern. Tayra Eke recorded her 600th career rebound and played in her 100th career game against the Wildcats.
