
Dawgs Conclude Non-Con Play With Husky Classic

SEATTLE β Before entering the holiday break, Washington will host the Husky Classic this week at Alaska Airlines Arena, welcoming Boise State, Furman, and North Dakota State.
Boise State and Furman will kick off the tournament as the neutral site game at noon on Wednesday, December 18.
The Huskies will then face North Dakota State following the conclusion of that game, at approximately 2 p.m.
On Thursday the 19th, Boise State and North Dakota State will play at noon before the Huskies face Furman at 2 p.m.
All four games of the Husky Classic will be aired on B1G+ and Scot Gladstone will be on the call. Gary Hill will call the game on 1090 KPTR-AM.
Tickets for the Husky Classic are available here. The first 200 fans to arrive will receive a reusable holiday Starbucks cup. Stay in your seat at halftime to watch the amazingΒ Red PandaΒ take the court.

The Huskies faced a tough Utah team on December 14, falling 67-57 at home behind a career night for Sayvia Sellers.
Sellers dropped a career-high 30 points, the most by a Husky since the 2019-20 season, while also pulling down a career-high eight rebounds.
This was just the second loss at home this season for Washington that started the season 6-0 in Alaska Airlines Arena.
Tayra Eke recorded her first double-digit game, finishing with a season-high 14 and a game-high nine boards as the Dawgs outrebounded Utah 37-32.
SCOUTING REPORT β NORTH DAKOTA STATE
This is the first ever meeting between UW and North Dakota State.
NDSU is led by sixth year head coach Jory Collins and have started the season 6-4.
North Dakota State finished the 2023-24 season 22-12, the most wins in NDSU Division-I history. Their appearance in the Summit League Tournament Championship game last season was their first in program history.
SCOUTING REPORT β FURMAN
Washington and Furman have faced off just once all-time, with UW taking the game 101-69 on November 29. 2014.
Furman is 9-3 to start the season and currently first in the Southern Conference, winning each of its last five games under second year head coach Pierre Curtis.
The Paladins concluded last season with a 15-16 record.
