SEATTLE โ Washington track is back in action in a big way this week for the first time since the Dual Meet victories. The Huskies are at three different meets in California this week, starting out at the Bryan Clay Invitational today, and followed by groups competing at the Beach Invitational in Long Beach and the Cardinal Classic at Stanford.

Keying in on hitting regional qualifiers is a big focus of the week, as NCAA Prelims are now just over a month away and the Pac-12 Championships less than a month out.

First up, in Azusa, the Husky multi-eventers will get their first full outdoor multi competitions from Wednesday to Thursday at the Bryan Clay Invite. Parker Kennedy will compete in the decathlon, with Hannah Rusnak and Elinor Jones Toutant going in the heptathlon, along with recent transfer addition Ida Eikeng, who will compete unattached.

Friday and Saturday the Husky sprinters, jumpers, and throwers will be at the Beach Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State at Jack Rose Track. Field events will be split between Friday and Sunday while all Huskies on the track at Long Beach will race on Saturday.

Mid- and long-distance running will again the focus of the group traveling to Stanford. Friday evening at Stanford will have the 800-meters and 5,000-meters, and Saturday will have Huskies competing in the 1,500-meters, the 10,000-meters, and the steeplechase.

The group heading to Long Beach includes sprinters and hurdlers Imani Apostol, Morganne Hill, Carly Lester, Darhian Mills, Olivia Ribera, Sarah Stavig, and Karlee Stueckle for the women. The men travel Cass Elliott, Jordan Lucas, Evan Mafilas, Jason Palmer, Kemuel Santana, and Khalil Winfrey.

Jumpers at Long Beach include Jelani Heath, Sam Richmond, and Jaylen Taylor, and the pole vault group features All-Americans Olivia Gruver and Chase Smith, along with Makenna Barton, Annika Dayton, Blaise Black, and Zach Shugart.

In the throws, the men will send Zach Annanie, Connor Jost, Elijah Mason, Jose Padilla, Denham Patricelli, Jacob Wachtendonk, and Jonah Wilson, while the women are traveling Onyie Chibuogwu, Emmy Engle, Ginny Mehl, Angel Nkwonta, and Katherine Taylor.

At the Cardinal Classic, the men will have Devan Krik and Connor Morello at 800-meters, and in the 1,500-meters they will run Nate Beamer, Isaac Green, and Mick Stanovsek. Talon Hull is entered at both the 1,500m and 5,000m. Also in the 5k will be Fred Huxham, and Tibebu Proctor. Andrew Snyder and Gavin Parpart are scheduled to go up to 10,000-meters. Three Huskies will steeple: Julius Diehr, Alex Slenning, and Nick Laccinole.

Cardinal Classic women's entries include Hannah Derby, Nicole Goecke, and Kelly Makin at 800-meters, and Anna Maxwell, Katie Rainsberger, and Allie Schadler at 1,500-meters. Izzi Batt-Doyle returns to the site of her 10k school record from earlier this season, and she will drop down to the 5k this week, along with Kiera Marshall, Kaitlyn Neal, and Hannah Waskom. Emily Hamlin and Shona McCulloch will run the steeplechase for the Dawgs.
