Ranked Dawgs Headed To Corvallis
October 15, 2019 | Women's Soccer
SEATTLE - Now back in the rankings, the #25 Washington Huskies will head to Corvallis for a one-game week, taking on the Oregon State Beavers on Friday at 7:00 pm. Washington will look to keep up its hot play that has seen it win six of the last seven games.
That hot start includes a 4-1-0 mark in Pac-12 play, putting the Huskies in second place in the conference standings. Washington's only conference loss has come on the road at #2 Stanford. The Dawgs have already beaten two ranked Pac-12 opponents, #20 Cal and #25 Arizona, heading into this weekend's matchup with the 9-2-2 Beavers.
Washington is 17-7-4 all-time against Oregon State, including a 10-3-2 mark in Corvallis. Last year, the Huskies beat the Beavers 1-0 in Seattle.

DAWG DAYS OF SUMMER | |
| Summer Yates earned her 15th and 16th points of the season when she converted a penalty kick against #25 Arizona. That makes Yates the first Husky to record 15 points in a single season since 2015, when Shannon Simon had 19 (7 G, 5 A). Her next point will be the 25th of her career and her next goal will be her tenth: she has doubled her point total from her freshman year, when she scored three goals and had two assists. In four games after scoring a goal this year, Yates has three goals and three assists. | ||

It was Washington's first golden goal since September 7, 2018, when Olivia van der Jagt scored in the 105th minute against UC Irvine. Washington had not scored a golden goal in Pac-12 play since 2012, when Lindsay Elston scored against Colorado in the 91st minute. | ||
