
Huskies Face Santa Clara In Non-Conference Tune Up

SEATTLE - Fresh off a 4-0 win, the Washington Huskies will host the Santa Clara Broncos on Sunday, looking for another W. The Huskies are 4-2-0 on the season entering the matchup, which will begin at 2:00 pm PT. The Huskies have just three non-conference games left before Pac-12 play begins. Washington will play Santa Clara, Utah Valley, and Seattle before starting conference play on October 1.
Washington started this week with a resounding 4-0 victory, taking down Drexel at home. Corban Anderson and Blake Bodily each scored their first career goals in that game, while Luke Hauswirth scored his first of the year and Scott Menzies added his third. Jaret Townsend had two assists in the game, the first and second assists of his career. John Magnus had his first assist of the year, while Handwalla Bwana picked up his second assist.
Bodily also had an assist in the game, giving him his first multi-point game in his career. It was the first multi-point game for Townsend as well.
