
No. 9 Huskies Wrap Up Pac-12 Road Play At USC

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The No. 9 University of Washington women's basketball team (24-4, 12-3) concludes their Pac-12 road schedule at USC Sunday (Feb. 19). The game will air live on Pac-12 Networks with radio coverage on AM 1150 KKNW and gohuskies.leanplayer.com. Pre-game coverage will start 30 minutes prior to tip time.
Washington is coming off a loss against No. 18 UCLA Friday (Feb. 17). Kelsey Plum, the nation's leading scorer, poured in 39 points to lead all scorers. The Poway, Calif. native went 11-of-21 from the floor, 3-of-6 from three and 14-of-15 from the foul line. Chantel Osahor accounted for her NCAA-leading 23rd double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The Huskies currently sit in third place in the Pac-12 standings behind Oregon State and Stanford. The trio of teams have all received a bye into the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament.
In the latest AP Top 25 poll, Washington moved up one spot to No. 9, joining three other Pac-12 schools: Stanford at No. 10, Oregon State at No. 11 and UCLA at No. 18. The Huskies are ranked No. 7 in the latest RPI poll.
The Huskies top the nation in several statistical categories: first in made three-pointers (290), second in three-point field goals per game (10.4), third in made free throws (445), fifth in scoring margin (24.1), sixth in points per game (85.5) and seventh in field goal percentage (47.4).
Plum and Osahor are leading the nation in scoring and rebounding, respectively. Plum is averaging 30.8 points per game and Osahor is averaging 15.0 rebounds per game to go along with 15.7 points. Osahor's 23 double-doubles this season also tops the NCAA and her 35 career double-doubles is second-most in program history.

Head coach Mike Neighbors and seniors Plum, Osahor and Katie Collier are undefeated against the Trojans, winning five of the last five meetings. Earlier this year, Washington beat the Trojans in Seattle, 77-67. Last season, Washington and USC met twice with the Huskies winning both games, at home on Jan. 17 (69-60) and in Los Angeles on Feb. 12 (61-53).

USC is 14-12 this season and 5-10 in Pac-12 play. The Trojans are led by a trio averaging double-figures: Kristen Simon (14.7), Minyon Moore (11.5) and Courtney Jaco (10.8).
